We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on projects lead to support on the delivery of various, and simultaneous fleet projects. You will be the main point of contact and SME for some of our existing and smaller projects. For example, electronic driver licence checks; vehicle replacement programme; supplier performance management. You will be involved in the decision making, solution finding and identifying gaps in future projects, for example, ultra low emission zone and changing suppliers

What will this role involve?
Identify technical developments that may improve the fleet solution, prioritise and make recommendations.
Collate and analyse information to satisfy complex needs of the team/customer and provide recommended solution.
Produce project plans and effectively manage, report and deliver against agreed timescales and costs.
Lead project through full life cycle.
Manage financial reporting in line with appropriate Capex/Opex business processes.
Initiate and de velop communication and good relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, with the aim of delighting our customers.
Work collaboratively across functions to ensure customer expectations are understood and met.
Coach and support others in own area of expertise.
Organise and chair working groups.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a commercially-aware individual with similar experience of leading or strongly supporting with projects. This role has a budget impact of circa £11m and so an appreciation and insight into commercial decisions is crucial; and a background in the logistics / automotive / industrial space would be ideal. You will have great stakeholder & relationship management skills, communication skills and Microsoft Office sk ills. As well as the ability to juggle conflicting priorities. A valid UK driving licence is needed due to travel approx once or twice per week.

This role is based in central Reading, minutes from the train station with a salary of up to £33k depending on skills and experience.
