RES is one of the world's leading renewable energy developers. We develop, construct and operate projects that contribute to a sustainable future.
We have a portfolio of low-carbon energy technologies and a range of services that meet the requirements of industrial, public and commercial sectors.
In the three decades since RES was formed, we have played a central role in the development of the global renewable energy market: we have helped to move the sustainable energy debate from the margin to the mainstream.
Students & Undergraduates
Our internship programme typically lasts 13 weeks, with start dates available between March and September.
You'll get a chance to be involved with specific projects contributing to a department's research, development and ongoing work. Past interns have had experiences within our technical, sustainable-built environment and on-site renewables teams.
The majority of the programme will involve on-the-job training.
The two-year programme is designed around you and your career development. Ultimately, it’s about finding the most suitable role for you – where you can most add value, grow and reach your potential. You drive your career: we support you along the way.
We will provide you with a route to professional accreditation
We will provide you with opportunities to work in different parts of the business, in the UK and abroad
We will provide you with structured development opportunities
We will provide you with a mentor who will act as a sounding board and support you with your career development
Most importantly, we will provide you with opportunities to take responsibility and deliver results
Employed by one of the world's leading renewable energy companies, you'll gain experience at the cutting edge of the industry, seeing projects through from conception to completion. Above all, you'll contribute to the way people think about energy all over the world.
We are constantly seeking appropriately qualified people who can bring value to our business. Our roles are wide-ranging, although we would be particularly interested in hearing from experienced electrical engineers, offshore operators and wind farm developers.
Working for RES is about more than just having an interesting job. What makes it special is the friendly and lively social environment.
